You gotta try this...

White Trash Salad

1 package coleslaw (regular size containing cabbage and carrots)
3/4 cup red onion, chopped (1/3 - 1/2 cup is plenty unless you really like onions)
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (I'll admit we used the whole 2 cup bag)
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 can (11 oz) Mexicorn, drained
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
3/4 cup plain Doritos, crushed (used more Doritos also)

For Dressing:
3/4 cup ranch dressing
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Directions
Toss all ingredients together in a serving bowl except for the dressing and the Doritos. Add them just before serving .

You have to admit - any "salad" with Doritos in it is a little trashy.
 
Absolutely delicious, try it today.  If you are opposed to the whole "white trash" concept, I guess you could call it Mexican coleslaw...but what fun is that?

testing out the new equipment

CJ and Nick were "somewhat" willing participants to try out my new background equipment.  I think they had more fun watching me set it up than actually getting their photo taken, but they participated!

I tried to get a "wide shot" of the whole set-up but the wall just wouldn't move for me to get back that far. 

I had fun, I think they liked "helping".  I can't wait for a couple of shoots coming up!  and my new camera....woohoo!

So people tell me it's not Christmas anymore... uh, who knew!  I can say our lives have been blissfully boring and we like it that way!  Sure I could have blogged the mundane along the way but hey I was taking a break and being lazy.  So, I may (or may not) go back and recapture the past couple of months.  I do know I have plenty of fun up ahead, and lucky (or unlucky) you get to hear about it all.  Or not, if I fail to blog about it.  One thing is for sure, I ordered my new camera today!  Yippee, hooray!  And I started 2 new blogs today because I didn't want LeFebvre Party of 4 to feel so alone in it's neglectdom.  Not ready to share (heck they are blank anyway), although you can find them if you look hard enough.  And failure IS an option on all fronts, and that's okay!  So, I'll post about them when there is something posted on them...and maybe that will be this weekend and maybe that will be next month/season/year?  Stay tuned... and hey, if you've stayed tuned this long why not a little longer?
