Sweet Adeline!

I took a test drive with my new camera lens at the Arboretum today, while my own children were far from cooperative, little Adeline is so photogenic!

Silence is NOT ALWAYS Golden!

I noticed after setting up GeoTracks in the living room
a) Nick was nowhere to be found
b) It was VERY quiet
Here's why!

Ordered!

I'm so excited, my camera lens I've been waiting to come off back-order is finally ready! I can't wait to try it out...

I've done a ton of looking and researching and decided the 35mm is the right one for me, let's just hope it likes me!

Happy Belated Birthday to me! I was going to get a Speedlight (flash) but decided I still like the look of natural light better.

Now who's willing to let me borrow them or their kid to let me practice/play? I know CJ will have about 5 mintues in him, Nick maybe 10.

Christmas anyone?

I can't believe I did this, but I started a Christmas list this week. Something popped into my head for CJ and I thought I better write it down, I'll probably forget by Christmas.

And is it bad that my list has more on it than anyone elses?

Cutie!

Just a cute picture of Nick, and no I didn't enhance his eyes. Plus I wanted to try out a new Photoshop action.

Cool, it worked!

Goodbye Bachelor Furniture!

While if was somewhat entertaining watching the look of terror as people sat on our dining chairs - wondering am I going crashing to the floor?, it was time to get a new dining set.

Charlie also reminded me this was the last of the bachelor days furniture! (Well actually its down in the crawl space if he ever gets lonesome of those days).

Here are some pics of the new goods... I'm loving the bench for the kids. Nick's a little young, but when Dylan and Sophia are over it works great! This picture is just missing the new bar stools, small and black they look great!

Here's the table fully extended, and in use! - it's larger than our actual dining room, but it could easily seat 12. I love that we can have people over, all sit at the table, and have the food on the table! You can see the bar stool in the back corner.

Tiger T-Ball '09 - OVER!!!

While CJ claims he liked playing t-ball this year, I am glad it's over! This is a hard age for organized sports, he liked the batting portion of t-ball, but wasn't too much of a fan of the fielding aspect. Charlie was a trooper and helped babysitcoach.

I probably took around 500 pictures of the coarse of the season, but I'll spare you the 250 pictures of CJ batting and share some of the final day ones.
